First Time Overclocking - Need Help

My setup is as follows:

P9X79 Mobo
Intel i7-3820
16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM @ 1600MHz
2 x 7970

I can provide any other relevant information if it's needed. Also using a custom water cooling loop.

So from the reading I've done, an overclock of 4.4 - 4.5 GHz should be attainable, right? All I'm looking for is a decently performing 24/7 OC.

Problem is, I haven't the slightest idea what I'm doing, what to look out for, etc. The only thing I've figured out is that I can OC by adjusting BCLK from 100 to 125 or the cpu multipliter (I believe mine maxes at 43 or 44).

Beyond that (voltage, etc.), I know diddly squat.

Anyone have a guide for getting started that could be of some help?

Thanks.
