What about my other question. Is the difference between 1080p and 1440p really that jaw droppingly good?
You think performance will be good on a single 780? I like to max settings as much as I can.
I hear ya, I actually ordered my X-Star from a us site, seemed more legit and even called them. Plus I can still send it back in 30-days for a full refund, which I'm not doing now that I've overclocked to 120Hz (i'm keeping this beast).
I could never go back to 1080p, especially on a 27" screen. The pixel density in 1440p is awesome. I had my 24" 1080p next to my 1440p X-Star (apples and oranges I know), it was night and day. 1440p is the way to go.
edit: I just missed your other post.
I think an OSD is pretty useless, especially on a monitor with one input. I adjust the monitor to my liking in software and never bother with again. Also I like the fact it has no video scaler and likely less input lag. It's basically a monitor that does one thing and does it very well.Edited by dilloway - 6/29/13 at 4:10pm
