Anyone got any links to how to remove the stand/stork on these Qnix/Xstar screens?

Just want to know what I'm up for before it arrives as I think I definitely plan to mount it on a monitor arm.

Thanks, but the led version is much cheaper,I don't think I'll be spending the extra $60.
I have compared IPS to TN (my monitor from a prebuilt vs an LG 21" IPS LED backlit. Night and day and a couple planets. TN looks dull and washed out. Shifting to the side gives you this purplish distortion whereas you could look at the ips sideways. I know what to avoid.

I think on the X-Star the stand can be removed without opening the bezel - at least it does on mine. The plastic bit just pulls out.

So yours just pulled out. Did you have to use much force or anything?

It didn't pop out easily; lots of wiggling and a fair bit of force is needed to pull it out.

combatant3219 enjoy your Xstar 1440p monitor.

Since our thread starter has chosen his monitor.

/thread cleaned of rude or personal comments and closed.

Sorry I didn't notice it much sooner as it went back to almost the beginning before being reported.

Side comment - As I keep running into this. Seems these Korean vs Name brand monitors debates in this section get testy and people take things personal on BOTH sides of the argument.
Keep in mind people, BOTH sides have valid points, Pros and Cons, and each person is entitled to their own from their own points of view. No wrong choice only difference of opinion.
Telling people to not comment or personally attack one another, doesn't back up your arguments. I ask BOTH sides keep in mind the rules of OCN when posting and contribute positively without stirring trouble within the OCN community.

Truly appreciated.

combatant3219 feel free to visit the club thread for further specific discussion, you'll see it's great support there. Congrats. smile.gif
