To anyone who bought one, can you report back and compare it to the Asus 24" 144hz Monitor?

Excuse me i have some questions about monitor.

1 - Have this model a good calibration to standard preset ?
2 - Can you see evident banding effects ?
3 - With flickering is deleted also in lightboost mode ?
4 - THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION : What is the minimum brightness ? ( the XL2420T and XL2411T had an high minimum brightness and its not so good for users like me that have a sensible eyes ).

Vega did a *FULL* review of these monitors in teh other thread (I think, the lightboost one). TL;DR: he said all three are going back, and the older Benq" LB monitors (2420T? or 2720T I forgot, but not the 2411T) are the best for overall color quality; these are only good for the no PWM mode, and if that's what you want, the IPS no PWM monitors may be a better choice (Eizo, etc).

Actually, the older ASUS monitor, too: VG278H and VG278HE.

The XL2420TE isn't a bad monitor per se, it's still a pretty good monitor but when compared against the VG248QE, Vega perceived the XL2420TE as a poor buy; since the LightBoost quality was comparable to the much cheaper VG248QE.

That said, if you had wanted the best LightBoost color quality, the XL2720T, the the VG278H, and the VG278HE are the winners. I agree with Vega on this aspect.

I own the BenQ 2420TE which is the updated 2420T, they added Lightboost, flicker free technology on the TE and updated the software calibration, as well as added Nvidia 3-D Vision 2 package. This monitor is way better than the Asus 248Q (read this http://www.blurbusters.com/benq-xl2420te-best-120hz-monitor/)
Many gamers are complaining about the Asus making them nauseated after less than a hour of use. I have had the 2420TE for about 2 weeks now and love it. Such a difference gaming on a 144hz monitor vs. my old Samsung Xl2370 60hz. The colors on the BenQ are amazing compared to my 2010 Samsung, the difference was night and day, BenQ panels are known for the best color calibration compared to the rest of the 120/144hz panels, most of them appear washed out looking. FYI BenQ makes panels for Apple, Samsung, and Dell.

"Under the brand name of AU Optronics, BenQ manufactures LCD panels for a number of major computer display companies such as Apple, Samsung, Dell and others. As a result, AU Optronics, and therefore BenQ, is the number one manufacturer of LCD panels. With such a prestigious name, it really comes as no surprise that the BenQ GW2450 monitor is one of the best. In fact, this monitor is the winner of our TopTenREVIEWS Bronze Award."
