Tried vista this morning - same sort of thing is happening.

Heres a pic if that helps:

Maybe it has somthing to do with my harddrive?

Is there a certain port in which I have to connect it with?

There are 6 ports - two rows of 3.

I plugged it into the top left one.

EDIT:

okok, i really thought i had it when I left the port to the vga power unplugged - I plugged it in but the same thing is happening!

muahahhaha!

I fixed it!

Installing as we speak!!

CMOS jumper wasnt on correctly and i switched to the right sata port

Thanks everything

EDIT:

ok, i've managed to mess it up somehow..

Im switching between wto monitros due to me only having one.

I set vista off installing.. its was around 10mins in.

I unplugged my mouse/keyboard and monitor to plug back into my laptop. Everything was going fine.

Then when I tried to plug my monitor, mouse and keyboard back into the new PC it didnt work..

It was like all the ports on the motherboard were dead.

I tired a few things, nothing too drastic but now it wont even switch on!

All the motherboard lights are on as per usual but nothing happens.
