Edit: I heard the Roccat Savu is pretty good if it fits in your hand right.

One word of warning about BE: it is impossible to lift comfortably if you have dry hands. Basically: dry hands -> normal DA, sweaty hands -> BE

Really? I have one and never had a problem picking up. Granted I don't have dry hands so that's probably why. I said the BE because he wanted a non-glossy finish/a grippy texture, which the BE has.

Yeah, I bought it back in the day because I thought the rubber would be even better to grip, but with my dry hands it always slipped out of my grip. I really needed to apply pressure to lift which was quite uncomfortable. That's why glossy mice are better for dry hands (or a better form of rubber).

I've changed my specifications a bit:
• Mouse does not require a driver to use 400/450 dpi.
I know that the EC1 eVo and G400 are able to do so; Deathadder cannot.
• Braided cable doesn't matter as long as it isn't flimsy.
I heard that the G400's cable can be flimsy but the EC1 eVo cable is quite sturdy. I need confirmation on this point.
• Mouse does not have prediction/angle snapping.
None of these mice do (except an older version of G400)
• Mouse is around the size of a Deathadder.
I heard that they are about the same size but I need confirmation.

Mostly need confirmation on these points for the Deathadder BE, G400, and EC1 eVo.

EC1 eVo is very close in size to the DA, and yes the cable is sturdy but very flexible.and lightweight.
