Sound Proof Foam, Which to Buy?

Hello!
So, I like a silent rig just as much as the next person. Good news is, my rig is extremely quiet, however my H100i pump is now the most noisy component as it emits a slight pitched sound. I'd like to insulate the block with sound proof foam, plus foam on my left side panel plus over locations I see fit.
So, which foam should do the trick to combat pitched noises?

Here are some links to stuff I've found.

Thank you!

Firstly, I don't think you'll be able to silence it entirely.

This is caused by the fact that the block has to be tightly attached to the motherboard, thus you can't use any vibration isolating screws which could help in some rare cases.
The best way to reduce high-frequency noise would be a thick.. very thick layer of high density noise dampening foam, preferably made out of 2-3 different brands and densities.

High frequency noise is near impossible to silence because of its penetrating properties, even worse if you want the case to be good looking. tongue.gif

Dynamat is an old standard for this and is the first thing that comes to mind.

You could also try some acoustic dampening soft foam too.

You can try to change the fans of the h100i to quiet ones and use a fan controller to reduce pump speed.
