Which radiator is better suited?

Hi guys, I'm looking at the Alphacool UT60 but it's all out of stock, for $20 more I can get a Monsta which is just thicker.

I'm not sure what the impact of having 20mm more thickness will do with the fans I've currently got. I'll be running two radiators.

So my question is, Will the monster be ok with the following setup and give the same performance as the UT60 would have?

Fans: GT AP-15
CPU: DT 3-noz
GPU SLI : XSPC Razor titan blocks.

Thanks guys.

Should be a bit better than the UT60 with that setup.

What sized radiators are you looking at? i.e. 240mm, 360mm, etc.

Going by Martin's review of the UT60 compared to the UT45, the Monsta should perform exactly as well or better than the UT60.

Thanks guys, looks like I'll grab them before they go out of stock like everything else I've been looking at >.>

I will be running two radiators: 480mm.

I think there was an old post around here about how you really needed 38mm delta's to get the most out of the 80mm rad since they are so thick. Honestly if I had it to do over again, I'd go with the XT45 instead of the UT-60. Just easier to fit into cases in Push/Pull and not really that much of a difference between it and the UT-60 at low-med fan speeds, which is the point of WC really.

Are the fans in push/pull? If it's push/pull I'd say why not, go with the monsta. If it's just push or jsut pull, I'd go as far as to recommend a UT45 tongue.gif

That's more of an opinion. Watercooling is much Much MUCH better for overclocking, which is why I went that route. That and it's aesthetics are wicked compared to f-ugly air cooling towers.
