I don't know what benchmarks you're looking at, but it will only be "slightly" and I mean "slightly" faster. Nowhere near "decent" unless overclocked or optimized for its cores.

I8THEBONES's link demonstrates this on the previous page. It's nothing life changing. Now, i5 and i7 is a different story.

Why does that bring up a qx9770 on my page when I click the link? You got your facts a bit far off if your putting that in instead of a q6600 dont you?

Ah just saw you repasted his link.....the qx9770 is Faster than the q6600 though. No offense to you but this is the proper one...

I understand if you clicked one off from it though....just dont want you to think i got it twisted....

Go read the other posts. It's not that hard to comprehend. He chose that processor because it was of similar/close enough performance to my overclocked Q6600. Nobody is denying the 6350 is faster per clock; however as the benchmark demonstrates, it's quite marginal.

Anyway, thanks for the input everyone.

No problem. I found this review to further put it into perspective. My Q6600 scores 4.34 in Cinebench at 3.87 ghz. That's comparable to the AMD 6300, which has 2 extra cores! I hope this makes it easier.
