i7 930 @ stock 2.8 ghz ~ bottlenecking my GTX 680 ?

Thread Starter
i've been trying to figure out how to 'test' bottlenecking, but i've read in different forums that an i7 930 @ stock clocks tend to bottleneck a GTX 680.

i know that if GPU usage doesn't hit 100%, this could be a sign. one of the games i play in particular does this (Arma 3)

so is there a way to determine bottlenecking in this case?

Run the game with Task Manager on and see if one of your cores is hitting 100% for a prolonged period of time and your GPU usage is less than 100% (vsync off).

Check average GPU usage during intensive gameplay.
