Personally I have a set of Audio Technica ATH-AD500's with a Zalmann clip-on mic and I love them. I've had them for about 6 months and I'm very pleased. These headphones are so comfortable and you can wear them for hours and hours on end and your ears/head won't hurt! Their sound is impressive for the price. I listen to some on the same types of music (Electronic etc.) and I have never been dissapointed by their sound. As for the Zalmann clip-on mic I've never had any problems with it. My friends always say they can hear me loud and clear.

(PS It is not required that you have a soundcard to run these headphones but it does greatly improve their performance! I would highly recommend the ASUS Xonar DG as an entry level soundcard, I own one and I like it for what it is. Nothing too fancy.)

The best part is, is that all three of those things put together will come in right around $100!
