My concern is about the corrosion.

If you re-use the H220 coolant, then it contains corrosion blocker.

What if i use plain water?

I heard that mixing different kind of metals will cause corrosion, example an aluminum rad and copper block. I don't know what kind of metals those parts that i listed are made of.

Brass and copper play well together.

You need distilled or demineralised water at least, don't use tap water. There's some links right at the bottom of the water cooling sticky showing what tap water can do http://www.overclock.net/t/226970/updated-water-cooling-essential-threads

A biocide is also recommended, for example a few drops of PT-Nuke PHN.

Ok, thanks for the info man. I'll just reuse the liquid in The h220, or i can just buy more of that hydrx in microcenter.

This is my first time watercooling and i'm excited!

From what I can read on the manufacturer page, the h220 is copper and brass so you should be fine.
n/m that's what I get for leaving a post open for half an hour before responding tongue.gif
