Depends how far things get pushed, but you are correct for most OCNers.
I usually stay out of 'how much psu do I need' threads, I often see higher than average power draw.

That's the great thing about me using my AX650 for everything. I have some knowledge to pass around based on what 650w can do with a high powered chip like a 3970x and hungry cards like Titans and GTX 480s.

A real eye opener was the time when people were asking for psu wattage with a couple of highly volted Lightning GTX 680s, there's some power!eek.gif
