I changed Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo's fan with a 14 cm Akasa Viper R High Performance S-Flow fan Amazing difference :) - Page 3

I got my gaskets in last night. I ran prime95 for a few minutes without the gaskets and recorded the max temps then added the gaskets on and let the radiator cool back down to room temp before starting it up and running prime95 again. Temps dropped 3 or 4 degrees which puts me back into high 70s and makes these fans actually worth it because my temps are now a degree or so lower, but the real benefit is the drasitc noise reduction.

Then I found out that I had my Vcore set to Auto and it was maxing out at about 1.38V. I set it back to manual and dropped it to 1.28 and my temps dropped another 5 or so degrees which puts me comfortably back to the low to mid 70s at full load running prime95 for about 10 minutes.

Thanks for the help!
