Here are the specifications:
-NZXT Source 210 Elite (White)
-Intel i3 3220
-PowerColor MYST Edition 7870
-PC Power and Cooling 400 Watt
-2x2GB 1600Mhz G.Skill TRIDENT
-500GB Western Digital Blue 7200RPM
-ASUS DVD Writer/Drive
-CoolIt ECO II Liquid Cooling
-NZXT 120mm/140mm fans through out
Now for the mods...
-Well, the Source 210 is quite the basic bland case with modern aesthetics, but i want to show off the interior. A full acrylic side panel will be added, leaving an inch of the original side panel for easy removal. Trim will be simple square door protectors.
-You cant have a side panel with out sleeved cables! All through out the case are white sleeved cables.
-Albino? Where's the red you ask? Red carbon fiber vinyl will be applied to the graphics card, CPU water block, and a piece of acrylic covering the 5.25" drive bays will also be carbon red!
-The boring, mediocre ECO II cooler will be totally redone; red tubing, and white zipties will be added to the radiator/cooling block.
So, now that you have a rough idea, the basic build will be completed by the end of the day tomorrow. Pictures will be added every 30 minutes from 2pm to around 6pm. Window will be cut and completed the following day. Liquid cooling and vinyl will be added at the end of the week near Friday or Saturday.
Sub and check back tomorrow afternoon for first looks! This thing is going to be possibly the most beautiful budget build in the history of OCN!
Tuesday, July 2nd:
I have the panel cut and the acrylic in place, adding trim tomorrow. The basic components are hooked up, still waiting for SSD to arrive and HDD to be put in place as well as a few cables in the mail coming this week. Liquid cooling coming soon too.
Here is what I have done so far.
Wednesday, July 3rd:
The trim has been added, and the side panel is completed! It was pretty easy to do, and the results are quite nice if you like full acrylic side panels!
