As a 660ti owner this bothers me

http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-760-vs-GeForce-GTX-660-Ti#performance

Note the framerates on crysis 3.

The main edge the 760 has over the 660ti is the 256 bit memory bus over 192 bit and 32 rops over 24. Does this mean that the 660ti will cry over texture heavy games like this in the future?

I don't think that page is quite right regarding Crysis 3, as everything I've seen indicates only a ~10% differential in favor of the 760 for that game.

Here's some links to the Crysis 3 sections of various reviews to peruse...

This is a trend that happens yearly... older generation of gpus is beaten by the newer ones. Should you be worried if you own the "older" card? I don't think so. Visual experience is kinda based on personal preference IMHO. If you are one of those that require maximized settings all the time then maybe you do get worried about it because that will likely cause you to upgrade every time a new game comes out and a new line of graphics card comes out. This is all part of the elaborate marketing strategy hardware manufacturers and game producers apply. Obviously to their end, they will only care about making income and selling us stuff. Hence, we should expect these kind of situations to happen. Well, last year also GTX 660ti beats the "top" card of it's predecessor the GTX 580. I am not surprised that they GTX 760 would likely beat the GTX 660ti smile.gif
