Hello everyone, I am new to building computers. I have built one in the past and it went fairly well. I am in need of some assistance for my next project. The one I build before consisted of name brand expensive hardware. This time around, I'm looking build a computer on a small budget, ~300-500$. I know that sounds cheap, but I'm not looking for a computer of God. I would appreciate if you could help me out. What I mainly want is a computer that will run my video games very well. I am also looking to stream as well. i would love all input please smile.gif

For what you are looking for, highly recommend you go here as a start: www.hardware-revolution.com

Has list of computers and parts by tier based on your budget requirements. Check either the budget PC section or the budget Gaming PC section at the top under "Build Your Own Computer".

It's what I used to start. Very helpful.

I guess you want to go with intel since you are in the intel section i would suggest something like this (used parts if needed to be) :

CPU: Intel Core 3220
Board: ASRock Z77 Pro3
VGA: 7850/70
RAM: 2x4GB 1600MHz Kit (choose the one you prefer)
PSU: 450/550W quality one (XFX Pro, Rosewill Capstone, Seasonic G-Series )
HDD: WD 1TB Blue EZEX

Not the best but a pretty decent machine i think, though if you could find a 3570K at a good price (used) that could easily do 4.2 / 4.5GHz and boost the performance a bit thumb.gif
