AMD FX-4100 cpus. Gigabyte 990FX UD-5 mobos.

I'm really asking just out of curiosity but why not something like

ASRock Z68 Pro3 Gen3 for $104.99 and a i3-2100 Sandy Bridge for $11999? CPU uses less power for a little bit more money?

Because the i3 is a dual core and I wanted quad core, just a personal preference. Besides, at the time I got the FX-4100's for $50 each wink.gif
