Nexus 4 hands down

Sent from my Xperia Mini Pro using Tapatalk 2

The Nexus 4 is much better than the other options you listed.

The LG Optimus 4X has got a brilliantly bright screen but it never got updated to the latest Android version.

The Xperia S is very laggy from my experience and never got updated to the latest Android version.

But can't you just update Android yourself? Like with iOS.

You can but they're buggy and laggy as hell. Do it at your own risk.

The Nexus 4 does not have this problem.

The Nexus 4 is a Google software developed device manufactured by LG Electronics. It has Google's official support, and hence will be extremely smooth and stable when it comes to Android updates.

So when Android 5 comes out it will support that too?
