GTX 780 sli with 60hz monitor? - Page 2

i believe 30inch 1600p technology offering ghost too much, that was the conclusion we had in 1440p topic. then again, 2 780 for 1600p are great tough 3gb might be too close, a 770 4gb sli would be enough for 70+fps in anything, while 780 sli would give you 80-85+ but cost more and 3gb is not 4gb (even if only 3.4gb would be used).

ps i am an owner of a single gb 780oc and am happy with it smile.gif went with single 780 as i dont plan sli

But then again, I'm planning on moving to 3840x2160 once that asus 39 incher comes out. thumb.gif

I'm incredibly jealous of all this.

I disagree with you.

A GTX 780 384bit bus 3 GB Vram is much better than a GTX 770 256bit bus 4GB Vram.

The 256bit bus is out-of-date and is too small for 4 GB anyway. It was debunked that there is few to no difference between 256bit but 2GB vs 4GB. Its more than a marketing gimmick. Even that the 2GB often beats the 4GB

Provided my member SHILKA

Its GTX 680 but the GTX 770 is the same as the GTX 680
