CPU-Z shows significantly higher voltage than set in BIOS

Hey guys. I'm testing stability of my 2600k at 4.6GHz in Prime and CPU-Z shows a voltage reading .041 higher than I set in the BIOS (1.336 vs 1.295). LLC is set to extreme. Cores are unparked. Off the top of my head I don't remember the other BIOS settings.

Is this normal? It's hard to tell if the temp difference is because the vcore is higher than I'd set or if my setting is that tipping point for my particular chip.

Yes, normal with LLC set to max like that.

Huh. I thought LLC only impacted voltages when vdroop occurred to counter them. Is it supplying a constant higher voltage then? Just under load?

The higher the load, the more LLC kicks in giving ''anti-vdrop'',

if you want a Higher Idle Voltage with offsets, you should use a Low LLC Level with a higher offset.
(Higher offset is to balance using a lower llc level on load)

Yes, that would be the purest definition, but in reality, LLC tends to over do it on ASUS boards and especially ROG boards. For example, an LLC of Medium handles Vdroop on my mobo. Look into using Offset voltage and lower LLC as suggested by prescotter.
