Small Windows 8 Glitch/Issue I can seem to fix

Thread Starter
Well I don't even know if its really an "issue" but its annoying me and my OCD and I cant seem to fix it.

The other day I was installing some stuff, a bunch of Arma2 tools, not that is has anything to do with this, but when I was done I noticed I accidentally sent one of the tools to a P: drive instead of the D: drive I was trying to send them to. Now I have a duplicate of my D: drive listed in my file browser, as seen below.

CkpuOlF.png?1

Now when I open partition manager its not listed, when i try to click on format nothing happens. I just would like to delete the P: Drive from my computer. It claims to be the same size and just as full as my D: drive but when you open it there is nothing in the folder.

Any way to fix it?

Thanks.

Well, what happens if you go to Device Manager > right-click the P: partition > Change Drive Letter and Paths > Remove it?
Or you could dismount it via elevated command prompt with the following command:
mountvol P:\ /D
(where P: is obviously the drive letter and /D stands for dismount)

That's the only thing I can think of.

See thats the main issue, device manager doesn't even show the P:\ drive. And your command prompt didnt work either, said it couldnt find the path.

Thanks for the options though.

Ok, well oddly enough, the P: drive has been there for several weeks now and I just decided to post this question yesterday. Well today I turn on my PC and the P: drive is gone. Never did anything to it and it just disappeared.

Thanks for all the ideas though fragamemnon.
