Maybe not DirectX 11.1 is able to use system ram and use it to quick swap with gpu ram for some crazy good looking graphics.

I noticed this Sapphire 6970 on newegg and it has better specs than most of the 7850's I have been looking at.

Any thoughts on the this card?

It is faster but consumes almost twice the power.
You will see 7850 consuming around 120w I think and so 6970 would take around 200w atleast if not 240w.
At stock the 6970 would be better but if you're overclocking, then the 7850 will be better and perform cooler + less power consumption.

I was just reading in another post on how much more the 6970's power consumption is over the newer cards and one of my reasons for upgrading to get a lower power using card. My 4870x2 uses 3-4 times (up to 450 watts loaded) the power of the newer cards so im wanting to get the newest card I can.

Thanks
