So i'm going to be selling off half my computer, and recycling some parts to get a prodigy rig
Just need to make sure that the stuff fits
Typical optical drive (might cut it out)
typical 500gb wd caviar black + vertex 2
normal mitx board -_- + cpu
noctua nh l9i
and erm, this is the thing im wondering if it will fit in the little psu cage, silverstone strider plus 750w
and most graphics cards fit anyway so redface.gif

I did what you're doing. But do yourself a favor and get a m-itx board with overvolting/overclocking capability. Put your opticle drive in an external case as well, top mounting a radiator is a nice feature. Most GPUs will fit and I believe the difference in the those coolers is the fan type (could be wrong).

I cut down my build from an AMD FX-8350 and Sabertooth 990FX to my current sig rig.

Good luck, post pics!

Edit: Not sure if that PSU will fit, but if it is under 160mm you should be able to get it in without any issue. For reference, I squeezed in a Corsair AX850.

i found the stats on the Silverstone website - 150 mm (W) x 86 mm (H) x 160 mm (D), seems like it will fit eh.

And yeah, idk if i still might overclock, i do some hardcore gaming and despite have a 24hour prime you still might bsod, and dropping off a multiplayer game sucks o_O, and i don't really have the need for higher clock speeds anymore

nothing wrong with going 4670k+ z87 though

PSU will fit.

The PSU should fit fine, also you might just save some cash and get a 4670 instead of 4670k to save some cash if you aren't gonna overclock. Good Luck!
