But $260 for the Asus is such a nice price, especially when it drops down to $240 during sales.

Yeah, I'm just looking around right now for awhile this month. I like the ASUS VG248QE it's $279 on TD not bad at all, yeah BenQ looks like they have better quality products, if I have to spend at least $400 on a nice monitor I will.

One observation, the VG248QE color quality is slightly worse than the XL2420T.

However, VG248QE has similiar color to XL2411T.

That said, I'm quite interested in seeing how the XL2420TE shapes up!

Yes! The XL2420TE is what I want!! I like that S-switch too, I know the VG248QE has good performance for a decent price but what's another 100 bucks. I'm just gonna wait for the XL2420TE to become available in the U.S. I see better quality in Benq then Asus. thumb.gif

Coming from an XL2420T owner, the VG284QE simply cannot be beat for price/performance right now (in the competitive gaming monitor market).

XL2420T = 120Hz / 2ms / $350+
VG248QE = 144Hz / 1ms / $260

I just picked up the BenQ XL2420T last week at Fry's. They were selling it for $399 and had them price match with Amazon for $319. It ended up being $53 more experience than the Asus 144hz.

The build quality of the benq is amazing. Colors looked good out of the box but did require some adjustment. Read a few blogs and watch some you tube videos and now have my settings locked in.

I play a ton of Counter-Strike GO. I can't believe I did not buy a 120hz + monitor sooner. Playing FPS guys at 60HZ is just painful. Playing with this monitor reminds me of the old days using a view-sonic CRT monitor at 120hz.

I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I have instantly noticed my performance in CS:GO increase.
