OCZ ZT 750W ?? HURRY!

Okay I never rush, but the sale is about to end and I can't resist. I hear some people have problems with the FAN but if you RMA they supply you with a fixed, so should i pick it up considering after the Coupon and Rebate it is $59.99 and its fully modular. If anyone can recommend a fully PSU in the $110 and under range I would greatly appreciate it.

Looks pretty nice, from my experience with my OCZ 750W Fatality (Rebranded Seasonic MK II from what I've been told?)

Anyway yeah, pretty good PSU overall. The only two complaints I have are that the red LED fan on mine was annoying and that it wouldn't power 2x 7950's and my 3570k at stock after ~2 years of usage. (Not quite 2 years even)

It did power my E8500 with 2x 6850's all overclocked fine, same with the Q9400 and the same two 6850's again overclocked and a single 7950 and a 3570k @ 4.4GHz with the GPU at 1100MHz. It's only then when I noticed the wattage/amperage of the PSU had started to deteriorate as 750W is plenty for 2x 7950's at stock even with a mere 3570k.

Thanks for the quick reply, even though this isn't the fatality series, for $59.99 I could not pass this up it got a 9/10 on almost all of the review sites, and its freaking fully modular lol. I bought it no harm done if I have to RMA because of fan noise, I will do it and leave my other PSU hooked up smile.gif. Glad I got it for the price I did and didn't pay $100

It's an indy-regulated PSU from Great Wall. It's a decent mid-range unit, that is priced very well at $59.99 after MIR / Promo.

I have no idea what your terms mean, but I'm glad I got it at a decent price.

Just like Seasonic made the Corsair AX750, Great Wall made the OCZ ZT.
Independent / Indy regulated is just saying how the each of the main rails (3.3v, 5v, 12v) voltages is being regulated. I didn't mean to put that bit in there. I guess I kind of went on auto-pilot when replying. lol

It's a High Power PSU. If they said it's a "rebranded MK II", they are probably saying it's the same unit as the PC Power & Cooling Silencer MK II 750w (I can't recall if this is true or not on top of my head though).

Oh okay, well probably then. I've had the new PSU for a while (4 months or so?) and I've had the other one for a few years so it was a bit of time back tongue.gif
