Hopefully that Rosewill PSU doesnt give you any trouble.. You could have also raided two 250gb drives and they would be as fast as that raptor for the same price.. but all in all, nice build! (next time try to run everything past the guys around here, make sure you get the best for your needs)

You will get an OC of 3.6 out of that chip. 400 x 9 fsb. E6600 has a hard time Overcloking past 3.6 cause of the extra cache unless you got Phase. Also depends on the stepping,so cross your fingers and hope you get a good stepping

I though about doing the raid but then changed my mind. I thought it would be easier to get the rapter because i currently have 2 other 300 gig hard drives that i will put in there.

Have you had bad expiriance with the Rosewill?

Good built, but I'm wondering why you go with the rosewill? I find that a cheap brand, I want to get a sunbeam nuuo 550w

Okay. Screw the extra cache, get what I'm getting:
E6300, Best Air Cooling, And An Amazing Motherboard.
Get an E6300 with a Lapped Tuniq Tower on a Asus P5B-Deluxe motherboard, you should achieve amazing results with that, you could get 3.3GHz easily. Get it. NOW.

EDIT - Read your post. Took my idea to the next level. If you are going to get C2D's they must be E6300's or E6600's. Extreme Intel CPU - Quad Core.

I looked around and read and its looks like a good 600w supply. The efficiency is really good and i have read reviews that volts do not fluctuate. I have an antex smart power in my current system now. If i see any issues with it, i guess ill switch. But it was 90 dollars for the power supply.

here is a link to it.
