The aging parts that I'm considering replacing:
Intel i5-750 + Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3
XFX AMD Radeon HD 6950 2GB
The new parts I've selected so far:
Intel i5-4670K + Asus Z87-A
2 x EVGA GeForce GTX 760 SC 2GB
I've read that once you exceed 1080p res you should consider going for more than 2GB VRAM, but I've also seen arguments stating that a 760 (even in SLI) won't be able to utilize 4GB VRAM.
Am I making the right choice for 1440p gaming?
The reason I'm looking at 760 SLI is purely because of the performance it provides for the price.
Any tips, help and/or recommendations would be appreciated
