I'm assuming this is when trying to run things maxed out?

That PC Power & Cooling Silencer is that a mark 1 2 or 3?

Thats a 6 year old or more Seasonic made PSU you have there

Might not be bad but maybe a newer one if you are doing upgrades anyway

It will probably be one of the next components that I upgrade in the system. At the moment I unfortunately do not have enough of a buffer in my budget to get a new PSU.
But as long as we are on the subject, what would you recommend?

Very much depens on where you are from and what you need and want to power and how much you can spend

XFX Core Edition is almost always the cheapest you sould every buy the Corsair CX sould be avoided

Well, I'm from Belgium, so my options are limited. I've had some issues with RMA in the past so I tend to buy locally to not have to worry about shipping things back and forth.
Spec will be as indicated above with the potential upgrades. I'm thinking 750W should be sufficient, 850W for extra measure.

XFX PRO850W Core sells for about 110€ here, which is more or less what I had in mind to spend. Although I was also looking at the Antec HCG-900 for 140€ (I would prefer to not spend more than that).

750 watts is more then enough even with two video cards 850 watts is a waste of money

550 watts can cover any system with one video card

Spend your money on quality not quantity you dont need anyway

Cool, thanks for the tip. I'll rather look in the 750W range when it comes time to upgrade the PSU.
I suppose I've just gotten so used to my system having run single card 750W (overkillmuch?)
