Is it worth to buy this PC?

Hello,

so I'm thinking about selling my PC and buying a new one. And I need a litle help here...

My PC:

Intel I5-3350P 3.10 Ghz
Gigabyte Z68AP-D3
Asus Radeon 7850 2 GB
Crucial 4 GB x 2 1333 Mhz

I'm thinking about this:

Intel I5-4570 3.10 Ghz
Asus B85
Gigabyte GTX 760 2 GB (OC version)
Corsair 4 GB x 2 1600 Mhz

The reason why I want to upgrade my rig is low FPS in BF3 Multiplayer. I get 55-60 FPS on Normal and with 7850 card I won't be able to fully enjoy BF4. I thought to buy MSI Radeon 7950 instead of GTX 760, but 7950 costs 40 dollars more and I don't get any games with it. I looked up for some benchmarks and I found that GTX 760 gets a little bit more FPS in BF3 and it's cheaper.

I even thought about buying PS4, but playing FPS games is a lot more fun with mouse and keyboard than controller.

So do you have any tips or suggestions?

P.S. Sorry, if I created this thread in wrong forum section.

No, not worth it. The two PCs are too similar in performance.

This, just get a second GPU or a better GPU.

I think it's worth considering to just upgrade your GPU. (To a 760 indeed). Since I don't believe the i5 is the element that limits the performance.
Going from mid-range-ish last gen (IB) to mid-range current gen (HW) is not going to make much of a difference.
And going from 1333Mhz to 1600Mhz on the memory front neither. (it might if you went from 4GB to 8GB, but you're fine already smile.gif)

edit: as the good people above me said smile.gif
looking for a second hand copy of your current card is an option as well. I did that with my 560Ti and continue to play everything proper. But it does matter on what resolution you are playing (VRAM considerations)

Radeon 7850 gets about 45 FPS on Ultra while GTX 760 about 70 FPS, so I don't think thats is similar performance. I think that I would be able to play BF3 on Hihg at about 80 FPS, while with 7850 I get only 55-60 on Normal.

Just upgrade your GPU to a GTX 770 or 780, and buy a new kit of ram at least 1600MHz+

Alternatively, you can buy another HD 7850, or wait until HD9000 series cards drop so that prices further decrease.

Ok, but if I would do like you suggest, after two years, when I would like to upgrade my CPU I would have to change my mobo, so it's better to buy whole new PC now. I could sell my current PC at about 679 USD and buy GTX 760, I5 4570 and 1600 Mhz RAMs at about 766 USD. So if I'm going to stay with PC, I'm sure I'm going to sell this, but I just don't know which GPU to buy. I'm playing on 1920 x 1080.

And when HD 9000 GPUs will be realesed and how much it will cost (approximately)?

GTX 770 would be just fine for you IMO

But Gigabyte GTX 770 2 GB costs here 500 USD while Gigabyte GTX 760 2 GB only 326 USD and performance difference isn't that big.

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Gigabyte/GeForce_GTX_760_WindForce_OC/8.html

So I should get about 75 -80 FPS with GTX 760 on High setting in BF3 MP, right?
