Installing a new cooler on a ATI HD5850

Hey guys. I'm currently trying to install a new cooler on my gfs 5850. I'm having trouble figuring out, where to put the heatsinks. The manual is far from complete on that matter, so could you please take a look at my picture and tell me if thats correct?
Thanks in advance.

Which cooler are you installing? The RAM chips are a good start. Off the top of my head, I can say you definitely need something on the VRMs (the red rectangle). Depending on the cooler, it might be something that attaches using 3 screws through the holes circled in green.

When in doubt, take a look at the stock cooler and see where any thermal pads were applied and you can judge from there.

Sorry for the late response. The cooler is a Arctic Cooling Accelero Mono PLUS, but I think we got it covered now. Or, we hope so atleast. Now the glue has to dry up, which apparently takes a long time smile.gif

OK no worries. Nice to hear you got it built - good luck with your temps! smile.gif
