The parts in red are not so good. The one in yellow possibly not good.
The parts circled in red of the mouse wheel area won't allow you to rest your finger there and could cause accidental clicks when scrolling.
The left side (thumb area) looks way to aggressive to be comfortable for certain users. It should be wider so your thumb isn't forced into a claw like position.
The yellow portion looks to round and wide. It would make it harder to use your palm (e.g. the Zowie EC) to lift the mouse.
Also the scroll wheel is to far back, it should be further forward.
The sensor is obviously not 6500 CPI native from hardware. I rather have 500, 1000, 1500 or 450, 900, 1800 steps as "native". I don't need 6500 and I don't want 6500. 1500 is already at max usability. If they had one of those 3 native steps and allowed you to use up to 6500 with some kind of software, I wouldn't care as long as it didn't ruin the native steps. Also do not require software to have those 3 native steps. High frame rate would be great as well.
Now I need to see the side buttons to further comment. If it is real tell someone from SteelSeries to read this.Edited by popups - 7/4/13 at 10:11pm
