Which PSU for 7950 OC Crossfire?

Thread Starter
I am currently building my new rig.

I plan to overclock my 4670K to 4.4GHz / 4.5GHz and also OC my 7950's to 1200/1600 with +20% power control.

Would my current PSU, a 650W Antec Truepower New be able to handle this setup?

If not, would this PSU be ok?

The ZT is alright but its not very good value when you look at it and compare it to the Rosewill Capstone

20$ more and a better overall PSU

But the OCZ ZT is fully modular, the Rosewill is semi-modular and I can't get hold of a Rosewill in the UK anyway. The one thing putting me off the OCZ is the fan noise issue.

So, you don't think my 650W Antec Truepower New can handle OC'd 4670K + 2x OC'd 7950's?

No not the 7950 being power hogs when overclocked

Power draw from the wall would be something like between 550-600 watts

This would be a good option

You might find it cheaper somewhere else i dont know that many UK sites
