Aida64 4770K Temps

I have an Antec Kuhler 920, liquid temps hover around 32C under load with the fans around 70% (I have the fans plugged directly into the MOBO controlled by the PWM, they ramp up to 100% when the CPU reaches 75C.) and my temps seem within reason.

When I run Aida64 stability test at 4.5GHz 1.244v (jumps to 1.247 under load) I see about 58C average on the Aida64 graph -- while at the same time CoreTemp jumps around 55-80C on the cores.

I'm trying to keep the CPU under 85C -- should I watch the Aida graph which I believe is showing the CPU package temps or should I go by the core temps on CoreTemp and HWmonitor? I never see over 80C for more than a second at a time and average temps while running Aida (according to Aida) are 66C. Can I safely let that go all the way to 85C even if my core temps read much higher for a second or two at a time?

Mine is chilling at around 95c.

It will switch it self off before it does any major damage, and it will throttle its self before that to try and reduce the temps.

Of course you will hear different things from different people, but to answer your question yes my 4770K is alive at 95C.

I'm cool with that - I heard they will throttle so I'll rely on that if temps get out of hand while testing for stability. My temps in games are a good 25-35C lower so it's not like it will always be running hot.

Thanks

I have my A/C on because it's very humid out and my room is 68F which is helping my temps some... But I'm very happy with my temps after hearing from you, thanks for your input
