ASUS will not RMA that board. The first thing the do when they receive merchandise for RMA is to take it out of the package and inspect it for physical damage. They will consider that tiny chip as customer induced damage and the warranty will be voided. Ive seen it happen personally.
Get your money back from the dirtbag that sold you a damaged board. Whether it works or not, the warranty is gone. If it works and you got good enough of a deal on it that the lack of a warranty is acceptable, keep it. If you didnt really get an outstanding bargain on it, get your money back and get a board that will have an intact warranty.
ASUS voided the warranty on my P6T because of that corner damage. This is how I received it back from them.
This is a pic before I shipped it, zoomed in and cropped on the corner before it was damaged.Edited by RX7-2nr - 7/2/13 at 7:44pm
