is the Corsair HX 650 enough juice to power my rig?

Thread Starter
I have planned to run the following

i7 3770K on a ASUS z77
EVGA GTX 770 Superclocked edition
Corsair H80i

Other prefs:
1 x samsung 840 SSD
1 x 3TB WD Green
2-3 additional case fans

The recommended watts for GTX 770 is a minimum of 600W
But I have seen video guides (linustechtips on youtube) that a 550W Seasonic is sufficient to run even a GTX 780

Should I get the HX 650 (decent priced), or should I go one step up and get AX760 ?

Some points to note:
I do not plan on running SLI
May play with the overclocking a bit

I run a system with similar power draw with Corsairs 500 watt model. My 4770k and 760 are both also heavily overclocked.

650watts is a perfect amount for your rig!

You can even SLI the 770, although unlike the Seasonic G SSR-650RM unit (the HX650v2 is based off of this unit), it lack the native connectivity to do so.
