Need a CPU for a GTX 660 2GB

Currently I plan on getting a GTX 660 2GB and an i3-2220. I'm already set on the GPU, but not sure about the i3. Will it be bottlenecked? Will it infringe on the performance of the 666? What's a better CPU for the 660? I want to spend less than $200 but the cheaper the better.

The i5 2500k is the best around $200 and the 3570k is better if you have a 7 series motherboard.

If you could tell us what model motherboard you have, that would make things easier.

That said, the best new sub-$200 chip that's drop-in compatible with your motherboard is the i5-3470. However, if you have a P67 or Z68 motherboard, you could get a used i5-2500K or i5-3570K and overclock it.

If you don't have a motherboard and you have a low budget go AMD. An FX6300 would work fine, and much better if you OC it. If you can spend more, a 3450 or a 4670k (for overclocking) would be great.
