New cooling for a HD7850CUII crossfire

Hey guys,
I've been getting bad temps and bad results on 3dmark11, i was thinking of buying a cooler for the primary gpu (since it has such a major temp difference to the other card 20c!).
system:
asus z77 -v lx
intel i5 3570k @4.4ghz 1.32v
2xASUS Radeon HD 7850 CU II
750w seasonic psu.

i had a few main problems with the setup but this thread is mainly about the cooling.
i wanted to buy this cooler for my primary card (and leave the other one stock since its temps' are so low):
http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/cooling/vga/569/accelero-hybrid.html

will i notice a real difference between the massive cooler the 7850 has and this hybrid cooler?
i dont care about noise i want the gpu to stay safe and perhaps to overclock it.

my other problems, i had my cpu at 4.4ghz 1.32v STABLE (12hr prime95 prove it..) but when i got the second gpu, problems started to occure, i asked people on the forum and got some tips and disabled ulps, this helped a few of the problems.
another thing happend, i got less performance improve than i excpected (via 3dmark11 scores) and i followed some advice on the forum to get the latest BETA driver (ccc) which didnt do ANY good at all, games started crashing, got blue screens, got LOWER scores both on 3dmark and windows evaluation thing (from 7.9 to 7.7 and about 1k drop at 3dmark11).
i have the cards set up on pcie 16x and pcie 4x i guess thats bottlenecking them, but would it really impact performance that badly?
anyway, thanks for the help in advance.
David.

When you give a 7xxx card some water, it reacts very well, and expect loads temps of 40-50 even with aggressive overclock in most cases
