Do I have what I need for a solid HTPC?

Okay, here is what I'm hoping to do. If you look in my sig you'll see my 24-7 PC. My hope is to sell that computer for $400-$450 then buy new components. Should cost me $200- $300.

Case:
Will buy once out.

Mobo:
Got it with 10% off.

RAM:
Seems to be the lowest power ram out there.

CPU:
Haswell T series i3. 35w version is what I'll probably get.

SSD:
Get a new one for my Acrylic computer and hammy down.

HDD:
Only got this because of the awesome deal, but might hold off at first on the SSD.

PSU:
Will use my back up OCZ Fatality one for now. The one linked later on.

Fans:
Probably Noctua ones.

With all of that shown, here is some more info from me and what I want this to do.

From me:
1. I will eventually get a new "Nvidia" gpu for it since I want to do 3dvision with my projector.
2. I want this to be super power efficient since it will run probably 24/7.

Questions for you:
1. Do you think an i3 will be fast enough for 3d and future 4k with gpu acceleration?
2. What about emulators?
3.Probably shouldn't worry about getting the HD 4600 graphics over the 4400 should I?
4. Does a sound card really make a difference if all the audio is exiting my computer digitally anyway?
5. Any reason to get a itx board over the mATX?

Thanks for the help!

i3 should be plenty. I would recommend AMD APU's instead but you seem to love that 35watt approximate max output, instead of worrying about idle wattage.
<3 That case.
Emulators? I try to avoid them as they tend to be glitchy, and that is emulation in general, but if you can find stable ones, by all means.
No, you shouldn't worry about the difference of iGPU's... but that is just my recommendation.
Digital audio? Like HDMI? Well, analog audio will remain superior. And then there is optical audio which I have not delved into. Enter a conflict zone, you should always want a quality sound card for an HTPC and go analog or optical audio, yes you may have good video but if you don't have good audio everything is off balance.
No, no reason at all, ITX supplies much less features.

Thanks for the reply!

Yeah, the APUs are nice, but I want super power efficient and it seems AMD is lacking in that area. Also the fact I need a Nvidia card for 3d vision.
I've been looking at the ASUS sound cards since no one else seems to have a low profile one. I have Creative sound cards in all of my computers currently.

Since I'd be outputting DTS HD audio through HDMI one day, would that really matter with a sound card since the receiver encodes it anyway?
Currently I'll be using my Z-5500 speakers with Optical audio or should I use the Analog 5.1 connection?

You could always fit a full sized card into a case like that with a bit of modding. At least, that's what I would do.

Optical allows for digital audio flow (I know my PS3 supports DTS 5.1 through optical. Yes, I am so ignorant about optical I had to look at my PS3... :/ ...)
But it is up to you, you can take the time and see which sounds better.

Yeah, I'll have to look into it more. I think I can live with out a sound card for the mean time. Makes everything super simple since it's all off the motherboard.
