Personally, I'm waiting for Dota 2. From the looks of things, it's gonna be a very long wait.

now if I could get Mint 15 or ubuntu 12.04 running on my desktop I would be all set lol. I love Mint so much more than windows but the only device i cant get it running on was the one that is powerful enough to game on , sig rig.

Errors indicate my graphics card , though I wonder if my xonar dg is involved to. Ubuntu never lets me use a mouse and keyboard and Mint either stops recognizing my mouse and keyboard or crashes when i try an update. No idea why this happens cause all my other machines it has been a simple install and go.

Are you using the Nvidia proprietary driver? Your Xonar should be fine. My DX has been supported without intervention on any distro I've tried. Just read some guides on setting up ALSA. As for the mouse and keyboard issue, Google your mouse with some keywords like 'Ubuntu issue'. I had a bad time with using this mouse in Linux for a while until I did a couple of hours of Googling around and found out X didn't have my extra buttons mapped properly.

Just Google until it slaps ya.
