HDD and SSD Question

Thread Starter
I am looking to keep my OS on my HDD and use my SSD for gaming how will that benefit me and will that cause any problems. Mostly my DCS Games will go on there like DCS world and DCS a10 and all the modules

Looking at Doing this setup

2TB WD Cavier Black Windows 8
4TB WD Cavier Black for Steam/Origin games
SSD For DCS probably get 300GB+

It won't really benefit anything in-game but loading times. Putting the OS on the SSD is the right choice.

The transfer speed isn't the reason SSDs speed up the system. Its the seek time, which doesn't translate to a great gaming performance.

Put the OS on the SSD and any games you play a lot if they will fit.
