Are these h100i idle temps fairly normal? - Page 2

You wont regret it

Just for fun I put them at full speed (1400rpm, not 1500rpm, don't know why) My coolant temp went down to 30 degres, CPU temps around 50 (54 max registered)

Ambiant temps in my house is around 24

Hm, I have h100i and my max 4770k - 4GHZ@1.09V - temp is 70°C after one hour of prime, that is after 8Ks. Is this ok ? Stock fans, balanced mode.

LOL! Winter is 23 C?!?! That's how my summer has been so far frown.gif

Winter here is normally -6 C on average and for about 2 weeks it gets down to -17 C or less! Don't ask why I live here, I'm not quite sure....it does make for nice OC'ing ambient temps when your room is below 15 C LOL

Hum, I juste realise I wasen't doing the blend test in Prime95, with my Noctua, 4.5ghz@1.265v i'm close to 80 degres max after 30 minutes(ambiant temp 24), fan at full speed (1425rpm)

Stock fan are better if you want to do serious overclocking with Haswell (past 1.265v), I think that i'm close to the limit with my setup.

So If you plan to go past 1,265v, DONT BUY Noctua NF-F12, you'll be disapointed of the performance.

It' weird that the test saying "maximum heat" dont rise temperature as much as the "blend" test; be aware!

Well inside it is, mainly cause the heating is usually on but still, I don't think it's ever reached negative temperatures here inside or outside, lol

And I'd say everything is fairly normal. I usually aim to never get over 80c, along with the fact that you're using Haswell, which I have heard runs even hotter than Ivy.
