HD 7870 for $164.99? Should I Xfire?

Thread Starter
So I have a gigabyte 7870 HD (2GB) and I saw this deal on newegg for an http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127722&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL070413&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL070413-_-EMC-070413-Index-_-DesktopGraphicsVideoCards-_-14127722-L0B MSI 7870 for 164.99 (after rebate). Should I buy this?? It seems like a great deal and I could xfire, my only problem is Micro Stutter how bad will it be with 2, 7870's.

And would this upgrade even be worth while since my second PCI-e is only x4?

My MB is: GA-970A-UD3

x4 will hinder this GPU significantly, Not worth the money.

If you want more power sell your 7870 and buy a higher GPU

On a side note, I've had this xfire setup for a couple months at 8/8 and it's awesome.

Because an x8 lane will only give a minimal performance drop.
