At most a 30% increase in IPC without an increase in execution resources would lead to 5-10% improvement in real world.

With the latest version of Cinema4D, the FX-4300 is only 30% slower than the 2500K/3570K. While the FX-6300 being the same as the 2500K/3570K but being ~40-50% slower than the i7 versions. The FX-8350 has the same perf as the i7 versions.

Cinebench R11.5 =/= Real World Cinema4D for R12/R13/R14/R15.

AMD saying Desktop Kaveri in late 2013?

http://www.fudzilla.com/home/item/32449-desktop-kaveri-to-show-up-in-q4

Something tells me this means, manufacturing Kaveri but no retail release for many months later.

I've personally talked with AMD myself. They told me Kaveri is shipping in 2013, with shelf availability in early 2014. I imagine we will see Kaveri desktop APU segment demo'd at CES next year also, right before they are available on the consumer market. Which is a good way for AMD to promote the product right before it goes on sale.
