[TigerDirect] Intel Core i5 4670k $199 FS [DEAL OVER]

Saw this today, it's their 4th of July sale. Pretty good deal, as its the lowest you'll find online and the coupon is instant saving I believe. Also includes free shipping!

Intel Core i5 4670k

Use coupon code:
WIS95182

Enjoy.

EDIT: I might also add that if you live in California like yours truly, the Micro Center in Orange County bumped up their prices on their CPU as of today (7/4/2013). I know this because my buddy went today while on a errand, and was told that the 4770k was $320 and the 4670k $200. I hope this is only temporary as Micro Center is known for insane savings on their CPU.

Just got my processor today at Frys, if you have a local Frys nearby you can have them price match it so you wont have to wait! And the deal goes on until the 8th of July so you still got some time to cash in. I'm positive that a Best Buy will be able to price match if they have the CPU on stock, the one I went to didn't. In total I ended up paying 218 with tax included here in CA.

You could probably have a Micro Center price match as well if they do not sell at their advertised online price.

Hey, I went to fountain valley Fry's. They said that they didn't price match coupon codes. What did you go to?

Raise hell with the manager of the store then. All four Frys where I live have honored TigerDirect sales prices (coupon prices) when I used their price match.

Kinda odd that your Frys isn't doing that.

I went to the one in Concord, but that's way far from your area. See if you can try another local Fry's or you can also try Best Buy if they have any in their retail store (which I hardly doubt but worth a shot).

So, thoughts on this CPU at this price compared with 2500k/2550k and 3570k?

If you are looking for performance, get the Haswell. If you are looking for the best overclocker, get a 2500k/2550k.

Also the features of the new Z87 boards are nice as well, such as six SATA III ports and supports up to six USB 3.0 I believe. From what I read, Haswell are known for not being able to overclock that well, only a few were able to get a stable 4.5+. Since I had no current build, I figured going for the newest technology was the best choice for me. I haven't been able to play around with my CPU though, if you check My Build under my sig, you'll see what I mean. Currently broke the piggy bank for what I got right now, and at the moment its enough for what I'll be using it so far. But definitely not at its full, complete state.

oh... I'll stick to what i got then
