Hello! At start i want to apologize you for my bad English.

idle temp ~ 50
load temp ~ 80

i7 920 @ 4.00 GHz

I set both fans push&pull.

All the rewiews shows much better temps than mine. This water cooler is worst than stock intel colling. (-,-)

One explanation is that the thermal paste is not sufficient or the Waterblock and the cpu socket are not as tight as it should. Even without OC you have a very high temp. As far as i know, the Corsair H50 is a good water solution. If you added the cooling your self , try reapplying thermal paste and be sure the waterblock and the socket are as tight as they can be.

A pea-sized drop on the CPU should be enough. Just make sure you tighten the waterblock down as the instruction tell you so you get an even pressure on the CPU and it spreads the paste evenly.

What volts at 4.0?

From personal experience, H70 could handle 920 with 1.24 but fan noise was unbearable.

That seems a bit high, is it on auto? Have you tried lowering it?
Also, is your chip D0 or C0?
