As you all know I despise this mouse - every time I bought it and tried to like it I have returned it. Mainly because of its shape.

This is a Logitech G400 love/hate thread - do you love it or hate it?

...Why did you buy it multiple times if you didn't like it the first?

I personally like it. I bought an MX510 when I built my first PC, eventually replaced it with an MX518, and now I own a G400 as well. They're all still working perfectly, though the older ones are quite worn.

Don't know who complains about the g400. Long time user of the mx518 so the g400 just feels good. On the mx518 my grip was different. The mouse would stick to my hand after a match or two. So I had my index and middle on mouse1 and mouse 2. Then my ring finger on the side with pinky laying on mousepad or in the air. Palm would lay on top of the mouse.

G400 I ended up switching my grip style even though I didn't have to because I would experience pain with my old grip style. Now I have index and middle on mouse1-2, ring finger on top of the ridge and pinky griping the side under the ridge. The grip with the pinky isn't even tight but I'm still able to lift with ease. This feels weird at first but I got used to it quick and it also helps with aiming in a game like quakelive.

Also g400 just feels like the smoothest and best tracking mouse I played with since ever. My hands would be small to medium size so don't give up, just keep trying new grips. The mouse is the most comfortable to me. I just wish it was lighter. I have the zowie ec2 evo and cm spawn. The evo hurts my hands and is very slippery for a few games. Cm spawn feels very comfortable and tracks well but something about it sends me back to g400. Im just more consistent on g400 mouse.
