Chromebook Pixel

I'm thinking about getting a chromebook pixel and dual booting chrome OS and ubuntu.

Things I like about the pixel

1. I love chromeos currently have a 2nd gen chromebook but it's beginning to show its age even with chrome OS, but it's the best electronic device I have ever bought no problems no issues EVER.
2. It comes with 3 years of 1TB cloud storage. I don't need 1TB but I do pay 5$ a month for 100gb, which means I'm basically getting $180 bonus out of the price, so its more like paying the still high price of $1119 but getting about ~900gb of storage as a bonus.
3. I can dual boot Ubuntu (or whatever Linux) and ChromeOS
4. Screen is great
5. it looks great
6. touch screen is nice
7. I am a google fanboy and have never been let down by a Google product

The other option is to get a Windows ultrabook and possibly dual boot Linux. (Maybe just run windows but it would be good to have something with Linux again for those times when I need it)

Reasons to do this

1. greater capability with windows and linux vs chrome OS and Linux (could run things like p-shop etc) more future proof since it runs windows
2. Possibly cheaper?
3. Possibly better hardware for the price?
4. Not as important but good aesthetics?

Is it possible to get a touchscreen ultra book that is cheaper or has better hardware at the same price (lets say 1119 without the cloud storage) and is just better enough to warrant giving up chromeOS which I happen to like a lot. It also must have an equally high resolution screen

I am not looking for the OMG CHROMEOS IS LAME! response. I happen to like it.
