Winblows Vista x64 Won't Retain Drive Letter After Rebooting...

Two out of my seven 1TB drives will not keep their drive letter after rebooting. I've even tried nuking both drives and starting from scratch to see if they'd keep them, but no luck. No clue what to do. lol

replace your aging vista with windows 7 or 8, or even better a linux distribution.

It's just a machine sitting in the corner of the room that never gets touched unless it takes a dump. Powered on 24/7/365. I haven't touched it for well over 6 months and I don't plan on upgrading it anytime soon as it would be absolutely useless. It would still be running XP if I didn't get this copy of vista for $25 in 2008.

I would like it to be running Solaris as my email server is, but since Oracle bought Sun, I've not been very happy.

I'll look at the link and see if I can figure something out.
