I want to buy another 670 and go for sli, however right now i've got an evga gtx 670 FTW. So if i want to go for sli does it have to be another ftw?,or can i use any brand of 670?

You can use any 670

However if you get a regular 670 which is not factory OCed, than your Evga 670 FTW will work at the other GPU's speed.

Just as long as it is a 670 and same VRAM amount than no problem at all.

So the FTW will be downclocked to the normal clock?
I'd be able to overclock both of them anyway, isnt that right?

Yes. You can OC both of them to the same speeds unless one of the GPUs are not very OCable.

Not every GPU can OC to the same level.
